The Landscape Photo Guy.
C4C | Clicks 4 Creativity
My camera is my window to the world. What began as a hobby with holiday snapshots and family pictures has become a lifelong journey searching for beauty, serenity, and meaning.
I’m not just a photographer — I am curator of visual memory, a translator of light and emotion, and a mentor for hobbyists who want depth, not just sharpness.
Today, I specialise in landscape, nature, and architectural photography, focusing on minimalism, atmosphere, and emotion.
How it all started
My passion for photography and nature dates back to my youth. As a scout, biology teacher, and bioengineer, I always connected strongly to nature. I first experimented with a manual Olympus film camera, but my student budget kept things basic.
Years later, with the rise of digital photography, everything fell into place. I started with a compact camera, but soon felt the urge to improve. After seven years, I enrolled in evening classes and became a professional photographer.
I feel most alive outdoors – camping, hiking, or simply walking with my camera. Whether capturing long exposures or just watching a frog in the reeds, nature constantly fills me with awe.
Like many, I lead a busy life. But when I’m out shooting, all distractions fade. The landscape, light, and quiet become a meditative experience. That’s what I want to share.
Over the years, my style has evolved. Where I once aimed to capture every detail, I now seek calm and essence. I believe that the power of an image lies in simplicity. I remove distractions and let light, shapes, and mood speak for themselves.
My fine art photography – in both colour and black and white – reflects this approach: refined, atmospheric, and contemplative. Each image is an invitation to pause, breathe, and reflect.
On my hikes, I’m continually drawn to solitary trees. Whether young or ancient, weathered or broken, they radiate a quiet strength and silent beauty. Covered in mist or standing tall in snow, they often resemble ink drawings – minimal, graphic, and full of character. They are a recurring subject in my work.
In addition to natural and rural subjects, I’m also inspired by the urban landscape. I explore how light interacts with structure in architectural photography, from sleek modern designs to ornate historic details.
Street photography fascinates me as well: unplanned moments in lively cities all around the world.
I also accept select interior and product photography assignments, where I apply the same care for composition and aesthetics as in my fine art work.
For me, photography doesn’t end with the shutter click. Through expert photo editing, I enhance images while preserving their essence, with a keen eye for balance, nuance, and atmosphere.
I also offer photo restoration services. Faded, damaged or yellowed photos are carefully revived and brought back to life. It’s about preserving memories with respect and precision.
I embrace new technologies, including AI, not as a replacement, but as a tool to support creativity and efficiency. When used consciously, AI expands what’s possible without compromising the soul of the image.
Through my platform, C4C – Clicks 4 Creativity, I offer workshops, courses, and one-on-one coaching to photographers seeking more than technical skills. Under the banners C4C | Refine, Restore, and Teach, I provide editing, restoration, and education, focusing on visual refinement, clarity, and personal growth.
My passion for photography extends beyond creating images. I regularly participate in international photo competitions and exhibitions in Belgium and abroad. These experiences inspire me, challenge me creatively, and connect me with fellow photographers worldwide.
I’m a proud member of the Belgian Professional Photographers and the Federation of European Photographers (FEP), which is a recognition of my professional commitment and craftsmanship.
Through my photography, I strive to show how beautiful the world is and offer a moment of stillness and reflection. In a fast-paced world, my images offer a quiet place—a breath, a pause, a reminder of what truly matters.

Brilliant, Guy, simply brilliant!
I am already loving these photos and hope that we can use your service again in the very near future.
Thankyou so much Guy! I can’t stress enough how fantastic these are. I have another three photos that I’d love for you to edit so they look consistent with the three you edited of Central Park for me.
I had a yellowed, damaged photograph of my grandparents full of creases and tears. Without much hope, I had it restored – the result was stunning!
Dear Guy, the edit is fantastic. I could not be more pleased. Truly, I’m grateful that you were able to elevate this photo and the memories associated with it to a degree beyond what I was capable of. Bravo!
